the South Pacific Games in Samoa incorporates four components.

The Front side of the Official Medal depicts
the Samoa 2007 logo, representing the sun, the environment,
the Pacific Ocean and the skyline.
The Reverse side of the Official Medal depicts
the Samoa Coat of Arms featuring the Motto "Fa'avae
i le Atua Samoa" (Samoan: "Samoa is founded on
God")

The participation medal shows the logo in a
repeat pattern with the centerpiece being the slogan of the
Games, “Live the Dream!”
The design showcases key words that represent
the spirit of the games, such as unity, passion and friendship,
linked together by the three ovals and meeting in the centre
for the Samoan 2007 South Pacific Games.

The VIP Medal is a larger 60mm replica version
of the Samoa 2007 South Pacific Games Medals and produced
for various important delegates and officials at the Games.

SASNOC
MEDALS
|
The front of the SASNOC Medal features the
Samoa 2007 logo, raised and 3D, polished and etched. The
water element represents the pacific ocean, gently rolling
onto the shore. The reverse features the Samoa Association
of Sport and National Olympic Committee logo (SASNOC) with
the Olympic rings.
The use of this logo is to showcase that the
South Pacific Games is the premier sports event for the
Oceania region, under patronage of the IOC. By featuring
the SASNOC logo this also shows the importance of the Olympic
Movement and the contributions to the Games made by the
team at SASNOC.
